Cable Beach, Broome

This page contains a small set of photographs from Cable Beach at Broome, Western Australia, taken on the couple of occasions I have had to visit the area (for family holidays).

Believe it or not, cable beach is not bathed in sunset colours 365 days of the year, 24 hours a day. You would think so if you looked at all the sunset camel photographs of the beach on the internet! We preferred to walk on Cable beach early in the morning, occasionally late evening, but either way the result is quite different and more refreshingly normal of a beach.

Coral Bay - Glass
Coral Bay – Glass. During April it seems common to have high level cirus and lenticular cloud at Broome, with clear skies being only occasional. This photograph is typical of what we experienced in the region. Still, fresh but warm (~27c) early morning air and calm waters along Cable Beach Broome.
